The day couldn't have been more beautiful for KC and Tim's La Jolla engagement session and it was full of surprises! I so loved catching up with KC since our summers working at Camp MiVoden in Idaho. The spark in her eyes and the way that Tim just adores her made this friend happy.

The cutest surprise of the evening was the wave that creeped up on the lovebirds, and Tim whisking KC out of the water! Such an adorable couple!

I am gearing up for wedding season, which begins next weekend with a Savannah, GA wedding. My days have been filled meeting brides to discuss last details, ordering new camera equipment and my favorite...capturing the growing love of couples during engagement shoots.

Love is definitely in the air with these two...Christina and Tyler. I've know Christina since we were little girls, and it is so good to see her head over heals in love with Tyler. For the engagement shoot we spent the evening at Christina's family farm... a special place to her, and a photographers haven for locations!

I so enjoyed spending the evening with these two. Their love for each other is so evident and they both are extremely good looking making it really hard choosing my favorites. I am excited for Christina and Tyler's wedding this July and honored to be a part of their special day.

Jessica + Michael | A Proposal

Pin It Michael had asked me earlier to come and photograph his proposal to Jess. We'd come down a couple days before and scouted out the spot I was to hide, behind a stone wall a few feet away.

I felt like I was watching a movie as I sat there snapping pictures.

Michael's proposal was so romantic, sweet and special. I loved being able to capture the love and excitement in my friends. To be honest... I started to write a blog post telling more about the special day... but I deleted it. I tried and tried to share with you how magical it was. Words just wouldn't express... So I am going to let the pictures tell the story.

Grant and Riley's Engagement Session

Grant, Riley and I ventured out yesterday to have a picnic inspired engagement session. We did a photo session in the fall and it was fun to see how much more they have fallen in love and are crazy about each other. I am so excited to be the photographer for their wedding at the end of May. Check back in a couple weeks for pictures of their coming wedding!

Jeremy & Natasha's Engagement Session

Pin It My dear friend Natasha is getting married! So of course we had to do engagement pictures! We made an afternoon of it! One of our friends Tiffany came along and we spent seriously hours driving around and taking pictures at different locations! Jeremy was such a good sport and will admit that it wasn't torturous like he had feared it would be. :) Congrats Jeremy and Natasha!

Brian & Holly Engagement Session

I love reconnecting with people from my childhood! Especially, when photography brings us together. Recently when looking for a wedding photographer Holly Huey, a friend from Elementary school, stumbled across Caressa Rogers Photography Facebook page and contacted me about being her photographer. This afternoon I spent reconnecting with Holly and getting to know her fiance, Brian, during their engagement session. Check back in a couple weeks for pictures from their special day!

Baylie & Ryan's Engagement Session!

Just a couple weeks ago Ryan proposed to Baylie at Parksville Beach on the Ocoee River. Afterwards they met up with friends at Yellow Deli to celebrate. Yellow Deli is located in an urban area of Chattanooga and since Yellow Deli was part of their special day it seemed like a perfect area for their engagement session.

This past fall I had met Baylie though some mutual friends, I knew that she was dating a guy named Ryan. However, it was only recently that I found out that her Ryan was a distant cousin of mine. What a fun surprise! I so enjoyed spending the evening with them. They are obviously crazy about each other and capturing this was such an easy job! Congratulations Baylie and Ryan! I'm excited to have another cousin, Baylie!
